Prior experience-
Managed Neuroanesthesia, Neurointensive care and neuro interventions independently.
In Kuwait:
I was part of the team for infection control and antibiotic policy of the ICU.
My duties involved providing anaesthesia in elective and emergency surgeries to all surgical specialties like Neurosurgery, surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics & gynaecology, urology, Gastrointestinal surgeries, Paediatric surgery, Plastic surgery, ENT surgeries, day care and outpatient procedures like MRI, CTscan.
Teaching responsibilities-
• There was continuous medical education programme under which seminars, journal presentations and case discussions are held regularly in department and in country. I am also involved for teaching nurses and junior residents.
• Involved in teaching residents in Kuwait board of different specialities during their ICU postings.
• Participated as Instructor of upper limbs blocks in the workshop at 5th Kuwait anesthesia and critical care conference 2013.
HONORS AND AWARDS-
• I was Recipient of Award of Excellence for seven years consecutively in Kuwait.
• Representative of anaesthesia department for Canadian accreditation of the hospital.
• Headed research committee and Equipment incharge of the anesthesia and critical care department of Al Jahra hospital.
• Member of team for air ambulance. Shifted patients to Germany and US
In Max Smart Superspeciality Hospital, Saket.
- Started Awake craniotomies in this institute.
- Expertise in USG guided blocks. Taught USG Guided blocks to juniors and colleagues.
