• Was awarded the best Paper award on” Secondary reconstructive procedures in Brachial plexus Birth palsy” presented at IOACON ,November 2014 in Hyderabad
• Was Awarded the prestigious ROBERT ACLAND fellowship for the year 2011 by the Indian society for surgery of the hand .Visited Pulvertaft Hand unit ,Derby ,United Kingdom for 4 weeks in August 2011
• Received the award for performing highest number of surgeries successfully in HOSMAT hospital, Bangalore for three consecutive years 2004,2005and 2006
• Awarded the travelling fellowship of the Karnataka state orthopaedic association for the year 2001
• Secured the best poster award for the poster titled “Surgical release of Camptodactyly-Points to Ponder” at the National Hand conference held at Chandigarh on 3rd sep 2006
Teaching
• Involved in teaching, training and regular assessment of DNB orthopaedic post graduate students at HOSMAT hospital from Nov 2003 to Feb 2009
• As Assistant Professor in Orthopaedics at Kasturba Medical college,Mangalore from January 2000 to August 2001
• Attended and actively participated in the “ Teaching-Learning” workshop at the Department of Medical education,Kasturba Medical College,Manipal from Feb 16th to Feb 22nd,2000
• Attended and actively participated in the “Student –Evaluation” workshop held at the Department of of Medical education, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal from June 21st to June 24th

Conducted cadaveric workshop on hand at M S Ramaiah advanced learning centre on 13th may 2012
Conducted workshop in hand and wrist surgery under Indian orthopaedic association conference in Dec 2008 at Suguna Hospital.
Conducted CME on Rheumatoid arthritis at Suguna Hospital on July 4th 2010
